Jacob is a public affairs professional who joined Disney's Government Relations team in 2007.  Jacob’s primary responsibilities are to oversee Walt Disney World’s state-wide and local government outreach efforts.  He has broad experience with both state and local government, and helps shape Disney's legislative strategies for issues in Tallahassee and here in Central Florida. He has worked at the federal, state and local level of government including most recently as press secretary to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

 
Jacob received his bachelor’s degree from the Northwest Missouri State University, and earned a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.  Jacob serves on the board of directors for the Florida Restaurant 
 

and Lodging Association, the Osceola Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Retail Federation. Jacob also serves on various statewide and Central Florida government relations committees including Visit Florida, the state’s tourism advocacy group, the Osceola Resort Area Council, The Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists and myregion.org.  Jacob is a graduate of Leadership Orlando and lives in Orlando with his wife, Jackie, and their three children.
